Once upon a time, I heard a voice. Kids Helping Kids. It let to the creation of a program for kids that was started in Lima, Peru, December 2006. Sisters Marg and Eileen put together this magical program based on the training Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine (TYLEM). It became an instant hit in the community it served - the poorest of the poor outside Lima, Peru.
Parents witnessed change in their kids including activating their natural ability to serve others using the gifts of healing hands and hearts. After months, the program was so successful the school system noticed the changes. Then the police saw a drop in the gang problem. One of the kids remarked to me one day I was in Peru - I no longer want to be in the gangs. I like doing this better! Today Nov. 30, 2019 two events happened that created the need to put here a page for Kids Helping Kids. At a one year remembrance of the life of a dear friend and associate, Mary Votta, an artist and creator of new ways of expressing oneself, I met a woman who Mary helped with her project studying and serving non-profit organizations throughout the world. As we talked we both knew we were meant to work together helping kids worldwide with their gifts of love and caring as well as a need for service. The second thing occurred was at support that same night, with my son Bill and grandson JAX, We heard JAX's story of how he was creating a website for his ideas to express himself through that medium. I asked to see his creation. I wanted to how "grandma" could support his expression of his thoughts and ideas to communicate with others. Hence, this page was born on the Global Healing Alliance - Kids Helping Kids. Watch with me as this evolves into a kids - youth directed expression of who they are to help other kids -youth. I look with anticipation the expression of this remarkable awakening of collaboration of kids to kids, youth to youth through grandmas eyes with of course, parents permission. |

Kids Helping Kids Training Program
Philosophy
Children are our teachers and the future of the world. As we meet with them and talk to them, they show us their wisdom and their needs. As adults, we respect who they are and what they have to teach us.
Kids Helping Kids (KHK) is an education program designed to assist youth to care for themselves and others. Administered under the watchful caring eyes of their mentors / teachers with permission of their parents or guardians. Kids determine who they want to teach and how they want to teach what is important to them.

Once the kids learn and experience "the program" which is culturally specific to their environment and beliefs, they are encouraged to share what they learned and help serve others with their expanded gifts.
