​He Says That Love Heals. Here's proof. I was making a film with the great surgeon/author Dr. Bernie Siegel. In order to prove his theory, he didn't have a lot of statistics, but he did have a surprising number of patients who were told that they were going to die and they should get their affairs in order. Each of them used one form or another of positive attitude to fight their disease (Dr. Siegel wrote the books Love, Medicine and Miracles and Fight For Your Life). I got the chance to interview several of them and instead of doing interviews, they were placed in front of a camera in a room with no one else in it and told to tell their stories to others who might be in similar dire situations with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. Feeling no hope. Distraught. Angry. And that is what the folks who you are seeing in this video did. They told their stories and in this video, Dr. Bernie Siegel supports their statements with stories of patients who he had seen recover from what appeared to be medical death sentences. I make this video and post it now with the hope that it will help those in a similar situations and their families to use love and positive attitude as a mechanism for fighting for their lives and for healing.

Holistic Nurses – Speak Up, Speak Loud, Speak Truth

This is what I belief I must do NOW.
Speak up.
   Speak loud.
      Speak my truth.
         As guided by my spiritual inspiration
            Then take action.
 
The action I am taking today is to clearly reflect, meditate, pray and ask for guidance by my spiritual team of nursing mentors, other colleagues and other spiritual guides / mentors. This includes in no particular order, RN’s Janet Mentgen, Founder of Healing Touch, Effie Pow Chow, Founder of East – West Academy of Healing Arts, Dorothea Kramer Hover, Co-Founder of Association of Comprehensives Energy Psychology, Charlotte McGuire, Founder of American Holistic Nurses Association, Diane Corcoran, serving military and past president in International Association of Near Death Studies; Bernie Siegel, MD renown surgeon in innovative medical care practices , Mark Anthony, Spirit Communicator, Psychic Lawyer, AfterLife Frequency Greg Braden, anthropologist, renown leader in Comprehensive  Integrative Health, and indigenous healers: Bob Randall, Australia, Rose Pere, New Zealand, Credo Mutwa, South Africa, Amelia Pandora, Peru.

These are the sources that have imprinted my soul to speak up, speak loud and speak my truth. Now! Don’t wait for permission. Be your heart centered self and act accordingly influencing the energy around you – those you serve including clients, family, friends, nursing and other health care colleagues, and organizations both nationally and internationally.

We will start and end on time with opportunity to listen to the recording at your convenience to strengthen the bond and unifying messages.

Mission 
Energy Medicine Partnerships provides an integrated approach to care for individuals, families and communities worldwide. Includes training for coaches, clinicians, practitioners, specialists and instructors in Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine (TYLEM) and other Energy Therapies working alongside traditional healers.

Energy Medicine Partnership's (EMP) vision is achieved through partnerships with individuals, families, groups and organizations to:

The University For Being More Fully Human Virginia Satir's Growth Model blended with Energy Medicine focus serves as the foundation for the offerings both at Energy Medicine Partnerships and its' affiliation with Akamai University. 
The Spirit-led Energy Medicine Partnerships works in collaboration with Akamai University and NCCEP exists to support and promote therapeutic practices in the world that explicitly honor the healing connections of body, mind, emotions and spirit within a cultural context. A primary purpose of the organization is to serve as a catalyst in linking such health and healing practice and those who can benefit from them providing humanitarina worldwide service. 

Goals
To fulfill its mission and philosophy, EMP is affiliated with internationally accredited Akamai University provides education, clinical services, research and consultation regarding health, healing and wellness incorporating Energy Therapy with Virginia Satir Transformational Process. 
EMP Provides education to: 
  • Balance and heal body, emotion, mind and spirit
  • Teach classes for promoting wellness, healing and spiritual growth
  • Prepare Energy Medicine Practitioners, Specialists, & Instructors
  • Meet specific needs for different populations and groups through specialized classes and programs
  • Offers cultural immersion programs in various countries for study, healing and personal growth in collaboration with AU Division of Continuing Education. See program description here. Course Outline for Cultural Immersion Experience
  • Address continuing education needs for:
    • Approved Provider for Continuing Education by satisfying all of the criteria put forth by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Approved Provider #450986-09
    • Approved Provider of Continuing Education by the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP).  EMP courses qualify as ACEP continuing education credit for Diplomate in Comprehensive Energy Psychology (DCEP) or Certified Energy Health Practritioner (CEHP) recertification.
    • Energy Medicine Practitioners and Specialist Programs have been added to the list of recognized programs through the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (Practicens de la sante naturelle du Canada).
EMP Collaborates with Akamai University and the Global Healing Alliance:
  • Certification as an Energy Medicine Practitioner (CEMP) and Certification as an Energy Medicine Specialist (CEMS)
  • Providing humanitarian & service projects worldwide

Dr. Mary Jo Bulbrook, RN, CEMP/S/I, HTCP, HTP/I, ICF
Dr. Bulbrook is a spiritual intuitive healer and founder of TYLEM™(Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine). TYLEM™ is based on her distinguished 50 + year career as a university professor and clinical specialist in psychiatric mental health nursing. From 1974-1984, she was a key figure in the development of world-renowned family therapist Virginia Satir's teaching organization, Avanta Network. Drawing on their twelve years together, elements from Virginia's teachings and philosophy were integrated with Dr. Bulbrook's holistic nursing theory "Healing From Within and Without".

Over the next decade, Dr. Bulbrook's therapy training evolved into the "Energetic Healing" program. In 2004, the title of the program was changed to its current name of Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine (TYLEM), representing the growth and expansion from the original model. Today the work continues to advance worldwide.

Over the last three decades, Dr. Bulbrook has been a pioneer in Energy Medicine. She began teaching and practicing Therapeutic Touch and Touch for Health in the 1970's and moved to teaching her own energy material in the 1980's. Her work was recognized in 1989 when Dr. Bulbrook received Canadian Holistic Nurse of the Year Award.

From 1990-2004, Dr. Bulbrook was active in the leadership of Healing Touch. She developed both Healing Touch and her own program in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Peru, and Chile, as well as throughout the US and Canada. Then she was on the board of directors of the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) for 5 years followed by board member of the Touch For Health Kinesiology Association (TFHKA) for three years.

​She has collaborated with international healers such as Rosalyn Bruyere, South African Sangoma Credo Mutwa, Aborigine Elder Bob Randall, and Maori Tohuna Rose Pere. In 2013 she hosted her own radio show with Voice America called "WISE CHATS" THAT ran until November 13, 2013.  The shows are still available to listen to free of charge.  From this rich background, she has created a highly effective and easy-to-implement model of advanced psycho-spiritual healing.
