Abstract: Connecting Indigenous Healers Teachings with Complementary Integrative Health Walking the Path Together with Dr. Mary Jo Bulbrook, AU President April 12, 2023 at 1:15 to 2 pm EDT Many of the innovations in delivering complementary integrative health worldwide for me came from walking the path with indigenous healers in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Peru over my extensive career path teaching practicing and studying complementary integrative health as a nurse, family therapist and psychotherapist. Lay people came to learn how to be empowered to take charge of the health and healing through a mentorship process that guided an individual, family or community to hear their inner wisdom that serves them.
